Girl With DogOur theme this month is “Animals – Zoo, Circus, Jungle, Farm, and Pets.”  The children will be learning about the characteristics and habitats of animals.  Some of our projects will include animal masks and puppets, animal collages and zoo animal cages.  We will also celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday the first week of March.  We will make green eggs and ham and Dr. Seuss hats. Dr. Seuss books will be read throughout the week!

Thank you to all of our parents for making our Valentine’s Day party a big success.  We appreciate your thoughtful donations and for helping in the classroom.  We are grateful to Jean-Pierre Khreich (owner of Fitness Chiropractic) for providing a spa day for our staff. It was a special treat for our teachers to have a massage and mini-facial during their break-time.  Thank you, Jean-Pierre! Don’t forget to read the attached flier to get a special discount for treatment at Fitness Chiropractic. The personal attention you receive will be well worth trying it out!  Kandi Welsh sent strawberries which were a delicious treat for the children. Thank you to Teryn Berardi for donating glue sticks and a glue gun.  We appreciate the puzzles and toys from Jasmina Muller.  Melinda Rosenzweig donated a computer monitor and Gina Vincent brought red paper for art projects.  Many thanks to Lori Wakabayashi for providing lacing strings for our homework packets.  The delicious bagels and coffee that Anh and Rob Warren brought for staff disappeared quickly!  Thank you to Marnie Moore and Heather Walters for the yummy cupcakes.  The playmats from Jane Kakkis are perfect for playground activities.  Thank you, one and all!
