Summer camp is just around the corner and we can’t wait for all our fun activities and special guests. John Abrams will bring his Animal Magic Show (with live exotic pets!) to school on Thursday, June 13, at 10:30 a.m. Our theme at the end of the month will be America the Beautiful. We’ll show our patriotism during the week of June 24 with lots of fun crafts including handmade flags and hats! We’re looking forward to a visit from our favorite puppeteer, Franklin Haynes, on Thursday, June 27th who will be presenting “Frankie’s 4th of July” marionette show. We’ve attached a copy of our summer themes so take a look at all the exciting events we have planned!
Scholastic book orders are due on Friday morning, June 7. This will be our last book order for the school year and we’ll offer them again starting next September. Please make book order checks out to Patti’s Preschool or you can easily order online using our class code GW3RF.
Celebrating birthdays this month are Hudson G. Susanna, Payvand, Lexi, Zoe P., Katia, Gwen, Asher, Jax, Faith, Tristin, Harrison, Lily, and Elliot. We hope everyone has a very special day!
Ms. Sue is celebrating her 1 year anniversary this month! Please let her know you appreciate her hard work!
Many, many thanks to all the thoughtful parents who treated us to so many yummy treats like doughnuts, coffee, pasta and salad, fabulous gifts, flowers, and cards during Teacher Appreciation Week. You made it a special week for all of us at Patti’s Preschool!
Our Stepping Up class in Room 3 is celebrating the end of the year with a graduation picnic on our playground on Wednesday, June 19, from 11:45 to 12:30pm.
We will be closed on Friday, June 21, for Teacher Prep Day. We will be busy getting ready for our summer session which begins on Monday, June 24. Your child will move to his/her new classroom on that day. Our summer rosters will be posted in front of the school on Monday, June 17. Please remember that your child will be in the new class for the summer and then move up again in September.
To celebrate Father’s Day, try taking Dad to Tanaka Farms in Irvine on June 16 for a special Father’s Day BBQ luncheon. Enjoy a delicious buffet luncheon with tri-trip, grilled chicken, barbecued sausages, seasonal vegetables and salad along with a special dessert. Dads and kids can enjoy games and activities together. Wagon rides are included! Check out tanakafarms.com for price and event times.
Thank you to Roni Burdick for the kid’s tent donation as well as the puzzles! Jenn Spehar donated stamps, paper, and scrapbook supplies! We are so grateful to our families!
We’re thrilled to announce that Ms. Caroline had a baby girl on Monday, May 27. Piper June Massaro is home from the hospital with her happy family! Congrats to Ms. Caroline and her husband, Garrett.
