Patti's Preschool Newsletter, June 2020

Welcome back to school! We missed all of our friends and are ao happy to be up and running again. Our staff is carefully following all of the new guidelines and health policies to maintain a safe school environment. Please note that we are continuing to follow our modified hours of operation, 7:30am to 4:30pm for full day and 8:30am to 12:30pm for half day. Please wear a facial covering at all times while conducting drop-off or pick-up. You will still need to sign-in and out in front of the building. Staff members will be checking children’s temperature with a no-touch forehead thermometer. If you have any questions, please refer to our new guidelines or feel free to contact the school.

Summer camp is just around the corner and we can’t wait for all our fun experiences. We are planning lot of outdoor activities (picnic lunches, 4th of July parades, nature walks, bubble blowing, and “pretend” camping). Our theme at the end of the month will be America the Beautiful. Watch for flags and patriotic projects coming home with your child. You can find our weekly summer themes on our website so take a look at all the exciting events we have planned!

Let us know if you’re interested in changing your child’s schedule. We have opened an afternoon class that is in session from 1:00 to 5:00pm. We provide engaging indoor/outdoor activities based on our monthly theme. This is the perfect program for children who are not “morning” people! Tuition rates and available schedules are listed on our website.

Celebrating birthdays this month are Sienna, Luke, Lexi, Asher, Lily, and Elliot. Our administrative assistant, Ms. Alexa, is also celebrating her birthday. We hope everyone has a very special day!

Our hard-working substitute, Ms. Sue, is celebrating her 1 year anniversary this month! Please let her know you appreciate her hard work!

We will be closed on Friday, June 19, for Teacher Prep Day. We will be busy getting ready for our summer session which begins on Monday, June 22. Your child may be moving to a new classroom on that day. Our summer rosters will be posted in front of the school on Monday, June 15.
