Patti's Preschool Newsletter, September 2025

Our theme this month is Getting Acquainted and Self Esteem.  We will be talking about our families, our friends and our school.  Sharing, cooperation, and expressing our feelings will also be emphasized this month.  We will review school rules to give everyone a fresh start this month.  September is a great month for making new friends!

Scholastic Book orders are back!  If you would like to order books for your child, please go to https://orders.scholastic.com/GW3RF.  See front office staff for more information. Orders are due Friday morning, September 12. Every order you place helps us add free books to our school library!

We have School Spirit Days every month (check out calendar)! Your child may wear a preschool t-shirt that day. If you’d like to purchase a shirt, they are available at the front desk for $20.00 each.

Celebrating birthdays this month are, Harrison, Daphne, Ophelia, Axel, Ethan, Emmy, Renee, Benjamin, Haven, and Henry. Three staff members, Sue, Kam, and Rowana, are also having birthdays in September!  Happy birthday to all of our friends!

Two of our staff members are celebrating their anniversaries this month!  Congratulations and thank you Ms. Amy (1 year) and Ms. Shondra (4 years). Please remember to thank and congratulate our dedicated staff!

Ms. Kelsie, from Webby Dance Company conducts dance classes every Tuesdays and gymnastics classes every Friday at our school! They will be hosting a dance demo day on September 9 and a gym demo day on September 12 for all students to attend! We’ll send home enrollment flyers if you child would like to sign up!

Ms. Patti is excited to celebrate the 45^th year anniversary of the preschool which she opened on September 29, 1980! To celebrate this special occasion, a pizza lunch will be provided for students on September 11 and 12, compliments of the preschool. Additionally, a coffee truck from Java on the Go will be parked in front of the school on Friday, September 12 from 8am – 10am. Please stop by after you drop off your child and grab a cup of coffee or iced drink to start your day!

Images 4 Kids will be here to take school photos on September 22 and 23 in the morning.  You will be able to purchase individual photos along with a classroom photo montage. We will let you know in advance which day your child will be photographed.  Please take a look at their website – www.images4kids.com

We are so thankful for our donations this month! Thank you to the Crouse family for donating books, and the Perreault family for donating puzzles. We greatly appreciated the extra clothes and school wide crayon donation from the Finbow family and the classroom supplies and books from the Kassabian family. We truly have the most generous families!

Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Patti will be hosting our Back to School Night for our Stepping Up class on Wednesday, September 10, from 5:00 to 5:30pm. We will be providing an overview of the curriculum and reviewing our goals for the year. We will be able to offer child care (for enrolled children only) since we are open until 5:30. Please contact the school if you have any questions. Hope you are able to attend!

Ms. Vanessa, from McKee Music Therapy Services, conducts music classes every Wednesday, also at our school! She will host a demo music day on September 10 so all students can explore the fun of music! Stop by the front office for an enrollment form is your child would like to sign up!
