Our theme this month is Getting Acquainted and Self Esteem. We will be talking about our families, our friends and our school. Sharing, cooperation, and expressing our feelings will also be emphasized this month. We will review school rules to give everyone a fresh start this month. September is a great month for making new friends!
Scholastic Book orders are back! If you would like to order books for your child, please click here. See Sandy or Jennifer for more information. Orders are due Friday morning, September 11. Every order you place helps us add free books to our school library!
We have School Spirit Days every month (check out calendar)! Your child may wear a preschool t-shirt that day. If you’d like to purchase a shirt, they are available at the front desk for $20.00 each.
Celebrating birthdays this month are, Emerson, Harrison, Leo and Daphne. Our amazing substitute teacher, Ms. Sue and our room 4 teacher, Ms. Rowana, are also having birthdays in September! Happy birthday to all of our friends!
Two of our staff members are celebrating their anniversaries this month! Congratulations and thank you Ms. Amy (2 year) and Ms. Shondra (5 years). Please remember to thank and congratulate our dedicated staff!
Ms. Kelsie, from Webby Dance Company conducts dance classes every Tuesdays and gymnastics classes every Friday at our school! They will be hosting a gym demo day on September 25 and a dance demo day on October 12 for all students to attend! We’ll send home enrollment flyers if you child would like to sign up!
Many thanks to Jessie and Jordan Clark for their kind donation of magnetic blocks, alphabet puzzles, and magnet maze puzzles! Room 5 has loved playing with them!
Ms. Patti is excited to celebrate the 46th year anniversary of the preschool which she opened on September 29, 1980! To celebrate this special occasion, a pizza lunch will be provided for students on September 29 and 30, compliments of the preschool.
Images 4 Kids will be here to take school photos on September 21 and 22 in the morning. You will be able to purchase individual photos along with a classroom photo montage. We will let you know in advance which day your child will be photographed. Please take a look at their website – www.images4kids.com
Ms. Catherine will be hosting our Back to School Night for our Stepping Up class on Wednesday, September 16, from 5:00 to 5:30pm. We will be providing an overview of the curriculum and reviewing our goals for the year. We will be able to offer child care (for enrolled children only) since we are open until 5:30. Please contact the school if you have any questions. Hope you are able to attend!
Ms. Vanessa, from McKee Music Therapy Services, conducts music classes every Wednesday, also at our school! She will host a demo music day on September 16 so all students can explore the fun of music! Stop by the front office for an enrollment form is your child would like to sign up!
